    In so many minds on SH maybe; but even here, when another Pearl Harbour or 9/11 show plays out, many will say, “We have to put aside our differences and work together for the greater good”, ie killing “those people over there” etc. humans are sadly predictable.

    The Vortex warranty forced many other manufacturers to do the same. Previously those “other guys” would more often than not just run out the clock on unhappy customers. The non Vortex stuff was/is not any more reliable than all the other brands at similar price points.

    You are on the right track, but that particular rifle is probably not capable of much better. Your reloading process could become very precise and by the results that rifle would give you, you would never know it. The cost might seem unsound, but you would better off with a know proven 1/2 MOA...

    CZs are the Tikka of the Rimfire world. The Tikka Rimfire is not bad, but I give the nod to CZ. I competed with a Tikka Rimfire for several years. CZ is better.

    Buy a CZ. Tigers and Savages will disappoint you with their build quality pretty quickly. Semis are not great for teaching kids much but fun conspicuous consumption. Tiny and expensive single shots are useful for a very short time. Have all of the above and several kids.
