    Thanks, that helped alot, so did reading what the others said....went out today and tried to put some of that to use.... ....I still need work, but there was a bunch of improvement.....now it's making sure I get all lined up on my shooting mat.....I think not getting that positioned right threw...

    That's pretty much it.... Most guys I know use straight up cross hairs or a dot in the middle. No MIL or MOA scopes really....coaches just call which ring to hold on and the shooter is good to go

    Been reading through this thread and others on prone position and have been getting some ideas where I'm going wrong.....been shooting off a bench too much and my prone position is causing me problems now.     Whats your go to load for 155gr 308

    Lapua Brass 45.2 grains of IMR4895 Sierra 155 SMK Palma (2156) 2.235 base to ogive 2870FPS this load has done very well ininitial testing, in the .2s and .3s at 100 yards, when I stretched it out, I got .7MOA horizontal and no vertical....I need to get better at reading wind

    just looking at, the wolf's ears went back and head went down, that's pursuit mode, as i call it, in the other pics, he was just loping along, in the last one, it was like he was getting ready to be on the chase for real

    308 155 load, OCW range

    Just a note, with two different powders, I've found a node at 45.2, Varget and IMR4895, not saying that will work the best you you, but 4064 is between the two on the burn rate chart.....in my rifle, I van max load 46.0 grains of both those......

    F-class is how I practice for long range hunting (ok, mid range, 600 yards),so my atlas never leaves my rifle. I've thought about switching to a sled type, but, for me, that defeats the purpose, though I know my scores would be better

    "yes" and "no" it will...but it's ugly....you caught me when bored, so I took mine off my Savage and tried it on the 10/22///the straps are a bit long for it to work properly, but with some slight modification, it could work
