Our city has been working with us luckily and when we made our yearly big ammo purchase for the department, instead of 308 we just ordered 6.5. At the time, they did not offer a 140 GMX, and I just checked the Hornady website again so I don't give out bad info, but it appears they still don't offer anything in the GMX line heavier than the 120's for the 6.5. The Hornady rep we were working with told us that they were working on...- EricG

Sorry to get back to ya'll late, spent the weekend axis hunting and have been battling the flu since coming back. Yeah I'm apart of the team from So Tex that went to 6.5. And so far it's been great. Proof barrel in larue predatar 7.62

WTS GAP Stainless Remington 700 300wm
Kinda beefy. Haven't weighed her, but she's got some curves on her. With the standard fill stock and M40/M24 contour, she's at least 15lbs. But her weight and the break make that magnum recoil feel like nothing.- EricG
