    Ain't that the truth. As much as I've been conditioned to avoid Chinese glass, there are some really clear optics for the price in the market. To each their own on whether or not to buy one.

    I'd still like more mag that the Ares btr g3 offers in the 4.5-27 but the glass really is good in that Helos 4-20. I could spot well out to 1k.

    I was really hoping it would have great glass. I just bought a Helos BTR g2 4-20 as well and LOVE it. Great glass. I put it on my 6 arc and couldn't be happier with it.

    When I realized that Athlon had a g3 line, I quickly saw the Ares BTR gen 3 in 4.5-27x50 and hoped someone will try this thing out and report the glass in it. I love the specs of this scope (also love the NX8, just not the price). I tried to love the gen 2 version, but glass just wasn't cutting...

    I just had Feddersen polish up one of their receivers and barrels. Man it turned out great. Such a smooth action. That group is 10 rounds of Eley Club at 50.

    I like different color options. Agreed with the comments of less cluttered reticles, especially for a crossover optic. Otherwise the high mag options with small floating dot all work great. Too bad they couldn't shrink them turrets. That's really my only complaint with the current offering...
