Rangefinder 1000+ yds

Re: Rangefinder 1000+ yds If weight isn't an issue the old school coincidence rangefinders ( WIld Heerbrug) will give you a reading on that prairie dog at 1000yds every time. I see them on E-bay for about $300.

Re: 338 rem ultra mag I suppose my 338 RUM might shoot better with a 26" or 28" barrel but with the 30" barrel my most accurate load with 300 SMKs runs at 2810 fps using 99 grains of US869 with no pressure signs. If the "Edge" will shoot another 100-150 fps faster than that then your well on...

Hunting & Fishing can .243 be used on wild boar hunt?

Re: can .243 be used on wild boar hunt? My buddy has killed 9 moose and 4 elk with his 243. As stated above its all about shot placement.
