Devcon for texturing too?

I have checked locally, (Ace Hardware, Lowe's, Home Depot, Walmart) and noone seems to have any idea what I'm talking about, and I can't find it in the store. How can an object weighing 30grains more, travel the same distance and end up going faster than it's lighter partner, who started traveling faster to begin with?
