im more than pleased with Larue and will use them for anything i can from now on. very nice folks and have emailed me several times since making suggestions of where to look for this application
i havent shot the gun yet, the ARMS #18 mount i have doesnt look like the others, it is not a long rail like the ones i have seen it has 2 pads and is open in the middle so i hope it will work.

I have been searching for a mount to work with my M1a. my original plan was to use the A.R.M.S #18 that i originally got with the rifle, i was going to get a larue lt112 20moa scope mount to go on the Arms mount. this is the reply i got

i had one in .40 and hated shooting it and loved carrying it. i shot a 9mm version after i had had lots of custom work done to it. i sold it and bough a 9mm a few days ago.
its way lighter than the .40 version, now i just wish SACS would do ion bond on aluminum
