2014 THUNDER BEAST TEAM CHALLENGE - Announcement

I've shot the match before would like to shoot it again with someone I shoot with on a regular basis but my rifle partner called it quits due to personal issues and the only other guy I shoot with that has a suitable bolt gun is not in the physical condition to shoot this match. So the...

What's with the rule that you can only single load? No feeding from mags... Weird. I guess they have a lot go people feeding from internal mags?

And they just WORK... Hit the 1000 yard range today to test the Berger load. Started out at 300 yards and worked back. The chrono data put my calculations dead nuts on targets for all ranges. Ended up out at 1040 yards as the farthest... We put the stall on the back berm of the 1000 yard...

Decision 6.5 Grendel vs. 6.5 Creedmoor

Here's the direct link to the post where I show the 6mm Fat Rat vs 6.5 CM results. You won't get anywhere near this with a 6.5 Grendel because it because a case capacity vs bullet weight issue. Plus in the 123gr 6.5 Grendel Amax vs 105gr 6mm Hybrid fight the Berger is the clear winner with the...

Decision 6.5 Grendel vs. 6.5 Creedmoor

I've got the same issues with liking semi-autos... I'm right handed but left eye dominate and almost blind in my right eye so I shoot long guns left handed but don't like left handed or right handed bolt guns. Semi-autos I'm fine with. So I talked myself into a 6mm Fat Rat upper for my...

Completed my workout today. Ended up doing two more ladders as I keep getting brass that looked well within safe pressures as I sent up. Todays results show that, out of my setup 20" Criterion barreled AR with a 5.56 Match Chamber, the Berger 77gr OTM Tactical bullets loaded on 07 LC Brass to...

Yea I'm emailing with a buddy now that's running it through Quickload saying I could try to go as high as 23.4grs without any issues. So I'll go that high the next time. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Here's my first update on the Berger 77gr OTM Tactical .224 bullets. Three ladder tests were shot today via my long range .223 Carbine. The gun was not zeroed for these rounds so I have no data on the drop at the specific distance. I simply arrived at the shooting location and confined hits...

I'm with Frank on the cost... I likely will not attend a Raton match because of the drive and cost in time from Loveland, but I'm happy to pay $100 to shoot a good one day match that save me a day of my life from being wasted traveling. I looked on the T3main.com site and can't find any...

Is there a website for info about the Trigger Time Match? I looked on their site and didn't see anything. Or is there a thread here for the match? This is the first I've heard of the match. Thanks! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

After I find the charge weight I'll compare groups at 2.26 and 2.25" and see if there is any difference. Don't think I can go any shorter or I'm getting the bearing surface behind the neck mouth. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
