I agree. Especially with women and children, start them off with a .22 lr and work up from there. That goes for rifles and pistols alike. My wife's first pistol shooting lesson was .22 lr, to .380 ACP, to 9mm. When she got comfortable I asked if she wanted to try my 1911 in .45 ACP. She did...

Four guys in uniform, with a Fire Engine parked nearby. When people would say that, I finally came up with the correct (to me) reply. "Well, thank you. But we are overrated." Just some dudes doing a job.

A client I trained on the rifle range works for Bell. His only job is the main rotor blades on the Huey. He told me they've been converted to four main rotor blades, because it is more efficient. I said "But that would mean they lost their distinctive sound and that makes me sad."

What a missed opportunity to chamber it in 10mm or .50 AE

I'm a fan of the mulchers. I have the Skid Pro shredder. I bought it from a friend two years ago. They have their place, and I'm glad I bought it. I'm not telling you to not get one. I'm just telling you a couple of things to be cautious about. The shrapnel coming off those implements can kill...

NEVER! Curl down where you can see the blades spinning, like in the video. You need a Lexan windshield. And nothing you care about can be within 100 yards of the machine.

20 years ago we worked for a local in North Texas that grew 16" alligators to 96" alligators. He explained he was a link in the chain. Louisianans flew the bayou, GPS located nests, then when season opened went and harvested eggs. Trying not to get killed by mom. Those eggs went to a hatchery...

We were running our asses off. We were also picking on an Emergency Department nurse all day. She gives just as good as she gets, an old salt. The opioid O.D. we gave Narcan just enough for him to breathe on his own. My partner backed in the Ambulance bay, opened the back door, and saw me...

Music does sound about right. You do not rotate your tires or tracks unless the bucket is also pushing you back simultaneously. Rotating, without pushing will make you sink. It's a dance. Push back, drive back. When you are out of bucket curl, you stop driving back. Reset, do it again.

Tell me you haven't read The Bible and history books, without telling me. Dumbass!

Admittedly, my head went where Lash's went first. That's Photoshop and impossible to slide one right log wall into a pair of stacked left wall logs. After about 30 seconds I thought "just stack them up bottom to top, you dumbass". There is a law of solving problems. Sometimes, you just have to...

An empty plot of land way out in the sticks is exactly what I did. I built in all the infrastructure myself. I built the shop myself. I built the house myself. Cheap, right, fast. You can have two. Mine has been cheap and right. Because I DIY-ed all of it, it is worth 5X what I have in it, and...

My wife would do a magazine dump on that troop, then ask for me to continue. She hates em!
