Is it possible to make a Mini 14 accurate?

I bought one back around 2006. From a sandbag at 100 yards I couldn't hit a quart oil bottle everytime. They are excessivly heavy for what they are and mine jammed like crazy with several different types of ammo. Sold it, bought a really low end AR that functioned perfectly, but had...

    Remington 700 build: I don't know what I'm doing.

Well, first, you've decided that your primary foucs for this rifle is 400 yards + killing of animals. I'm going to venture a guess that we're talking prarie dogs or coyotes, both relatively small targets at that distance. My recommendation is to get the bottom metal you need. Have a...

"-Leupold Mark6 3-18x44" I agree with the guys pulling for the Mark 6. Keep the weight down as much as possible.

Rifle Scopes Bushnell AR 1-4x24 Throw Down PCL

I've had one on B/O through SWFA for a couple weeks. They haven't really been able to tell me much so I called up Bushnell today and spoke w/ a CS agent. The answer I got was that they just came in from overseas and going through quality control inspections. He said so far everything is...

Add-on Cheek Rest for Bolt Guns

I tried adding foam under a stock pack to gain height but found it was too wobbly/flimsy. I just broke down and bought a Karsten Cheek piece for 65.00 and problem solved.

need easy plans for rifle plate stands..

Sheperds hooks and bungee cords are easiest for swinger targets. All you have to do is step on them to get them pushed in the ground, hang the target via bungees between two of them and your good to go.

    Budget friendly upgrades?

Re: Budget friendly upgrades? I've upgraded my 700 sps tac. 308 on a budget. The best upgrades i've made so far is a Takeoff HS Precision stock (which we glass bedded) and a Karsten cheek piece. The factory trigger is decent enough once adjusted.

    Savage Axis??

Re: Savage Axis?? A guy a my local gunshop tried to give me a deal on a Savage Axis. Price wasn't bad but the gun was. It's honestly the cheapest feeling rifle i've ever handled. I would spend more money on an H&R Singleshot rifle brefore an Axis. What is your intended purpose for the...

    Remington 700 SPS Tactical AAC-SD ???

Re: Remington 700 SPS Tactical AAC-SD ??? I have a regular sps tactical in .308. Its not threaded but that's the only difference. I immediately removed the Hogue stock and installed an H.S. precision and had it bedded. Tac Ops bolt knob. Had the barreled action gun koted, gap style camo...
