    Suppressors Building a 1911

    what is the difference in a custom made gun and a " parts" gun. I have noticed in other forums people calling a gun made up of differnt parts, like essex frame, wilson combat slide, ed brown barrell, etc....a parts gun. So I wonder what makes it a custom and not a parts gun.
