Former Marine grunt, served in Vietnam 1969-70 in northern I Corps, two Purple Hearts. Graduated from LSU in Journalism and worked in newspaper business for more than 35 years until retiring at age 62 in January 2012. Wrote a medium successful novel in 2002-03 entitled "My Dying Breath" based on tour in Vietnam. Ultra-avid LSU football fan. Geaux Tigers!
