Watch Out for Scammers!
We've now added a color code for all accounts. Orange accounts are new members, Blue are full members, and Green are Supporters. If you get a message about a sale from an orange account, make sure you pay attention before sending any money!
First ones, with "old" SCR reticle and non-illuminated, in May/ June. Other models to follow. I do not have good info on SCR2 release yet. But generally speaking, adding a different reticle happens fairly quickly.
Absolutely. The T5Xi is completely done here in USA.* *there's a weird legal disclosure on that statement: if a "significant component" of a product comes from overseas, you can't say "made in USA" and the glass is not US. But machining, assembly, etc. etc., all done in Greeley Colorado.
We try, at Burris and Steiner, to fix/repair rather than replace. I think it would be very rare for a M-series scope to need replacement. On older items, we keep a few in reserve and keep any necessary parts stocked here in Greeley. I'm sure Steiner Germany also has parts in reserve if...
Doug, our director of Tech Support, was reading these messages this morning and said he would get you set up for a return. He's on top of things like this, but tends to like to stay away from the limelight. I am intentionally not answering the question on servicing the turrets. I work in...
If your knob stiffness lasts for more than four hours, you should really contact us immediately (sorry, couldn't resist). But seriously, we are absolutely here to ensure the scope is right. Not positive what this means, exaclty, but if you're awaiting a reply from our tech service team, and...
Hello everyone - this is a bit spammy, but what the hell: I do a Burris newsletter every once in a while, and it always has a contest (it also has some info on XTR III, but way less than this thread). I point this out here since I know most of you cognoscenti wouldn't stoop so low as to...
That's a good question -- most likely it will be more like the H59, with a few strategic lit locations. I can't imagine lighting up everything -- it would look like downtown Reno, or that one dispensary in Boulder... I'll try to get you a better answer later on, but we are evidently reserving...
I should have waited a bit before posting that..it takes an hour or so for new content to propagate out on our content delivery networks. It should work now, but you may need to force a page reload (CNTRL + F5 or CNTRL+ RELOAD).
You've already seen most of the info, but the new 2019 Burris catalog is now online at: https://www.burrisoptics.com/customer-service/catalog XTR III on page 34, with spec chart on page 78. (we're forcing you to go past all the Eliminator, Speedbead, Scout scopes, etc.... sorta like getting...
Hey, stop trying to do our marketing. I don't go down to where you work and kick the .... um, never mind. Actually, the Burris Triple X is a good name. But knowing Burris, we'd soon have the Burris XXX 2, or the Burris Quad X, or X-cubed or something. Gotta plan for the future!
Hello everyone. I had a great visit with Ilya yesterday. But am very glad our engineering director was there to answer his questions. The dude makes me feel like a marketing dummy. Which, you know, is true, but I still prefer to avoid feeling that way.... Still working on getting official...
