    picked up my remington 700 sps tac today and is it really necessary to have it taped to 8/40 or is the standard 6/48 strong enough ...????? please let me know im kinda impatient and i called my local gun smith and he said 2 to 3 weeks eta because they are backed up to tap it to 8/40 please give...
