    Re: Scope for 500-800 yards Thanks guys. I have rifles for closer range hunting with 1-4x 3-9x and 4-12x scopes for everyday hunting so that's not an issue. I'm just wondering if the 25x is "overkill" and will be a waste of $200

    Rifle Scopes Scope for 500-800 yards

    I'm having a .257 Weatherby Magnum built for hunting/targets. I will be using it on groundhogs, coyotes, and deer anywhere from 300 out and im trying to decide on the glass. I'm leaning towards a Swarovski Z5 in 3.5-18x or 5-25x. What would better suit my needs
