    Re: Can anybody confirm velocities from a REM LTR?? Thanks guys. I know I bought a cheap chronograph, but I took a chance and it seems alright. Its less nerve racking when shooting my .50 ae through a cheap chrono, though. Damn is it fun to shoot especially at fruit or gallon milk jugs. lol

    Re: Why is this happening? DOES YOUR SCOPE HAVE PARALLAX ADJUSTMENT? If a scope has parallax adjustment it shouldnt matter where your head is against the stock right?

    Re: 308 700P lands sounds close to me, mine is about 2.925 with 168 smk's.i didnt cut slits in mine nethier. I just took a fireformed brass and then took a lee collet die just enough to get tension on the bullet so i pull it out with my fingers.

    I have some fed. Gold metal match that I pulled and I have american eagle, and some federal hunting hunting rounds I pulled from wal mart, all .308. All the brass appears to be exactly the same. All the head stamps are the same. Anybody have diff. info? Hornady match brass says "match" on...

    Re: 1st test loads with 175 smk's, anybody object if i dremel the federal brass lengthwise every two reloads or so, and I still have pretty thick case just above the case head the i should be fine right? That is ofcourse he primer pockets hold up too.

    175 MK OAL for 700p

    Re: 175 MK OAL for 700p my Rem. LTR is 2.932 with any of the three, 168 amax, 168 smk, or 175 smk. I modified my magazine to except oal to 2.950. But after realizing you really can't seat bullet out that far because there isn't much bullet left in the case neck to get consistent pressures...
