9 year old girl unintentional shoots and kills instructor with machinegun in Arizona

For those in the service or Vets, think about the amount of training we had to undergo before we even got to fire on semi auto, and then the additional training before automatic fire. A lot of soldiers can't even control a weapon on auto fire when in a foxhole supported on a sandbag. I have...

    Thinking of joining the army

OK. So here's my opinion after 32 years with the Army, 29 of it active. Do what you want to do. One time at about the 8 year mark I thought about getting out and my wife (yes the one I've been married to for the last 40 years) asked the simple question, "If you got out would you miss it?"...

The "Rules" at the Hide (to aid n00bz)

How about the guys that join and ask all kinds of questions because they're new to relaoding and 6 months later they're answering all the questions like they invented the process?

Options & Accessories For Sale is where the Reloading Components are listed. Can't say you're going to be a real popular vendor anyway if you're bragging about selling on Gunbroker! Before you decide to flame me for this comment consider that I'm not looking for a contest and this will be my one...

    Celia's Surgery

Greg. Glad to hear all is going well. Not exceeding range of motion is important, but just as important is moving around often during the day. Even if it's just to walk to the kitchen and back. I had my right hip replaced Dec 11. It was in terrible shape. There was immediate improvement in pain...

Legal difference between shotgun and rifle?????

This from the United States Code: 18 USC CHAPTER 44 - FIREARMS (5) The term "shotgun" means a weapon designed or redesigned, made or remade, and intended to be fired from the shoulder and designed or redesigned and made or remade to use the energy of an explosive to fire through a smooth bore...

New guy here...not new to reloading though

H-110 is one of the powders for Supersonic rounds in the 300 BLKOUT. It is not however, for the 5.56/.223. All similarities end with the use of the same case to form the 300 BLKOUT. Recommend a good relaoding manual. Welcome!

NASCAR expresses regret in NRA sponsorship of Sprint Cup race

Didn't the Dixie Chicks diss their fan base too? Pretty funny that a sport that began as a result of running moonshine is now the moral compass against a totally legitimate organization!
