Night Vision TRIJICON MKIII 4.5/60mm or 2.5/35mm

Thank you foxkilr, is the fuzy focus inside of 50 yards ever an issue? Although I suppose that's kinda nods and laser range.

Night Vision TRIJICON MKIII 4.5/60mm or 2.5/35mm

I am looking at hunting coyotes/wolves/ hogs in northern Virginia and north west NC. Terrain is mostly mountainous and heavily wooded, although occasionally hunt on a ranch or farm with some flat open terrain, so extended detection range is a nice to have , not need to have. I currently have...

Bergara B14 HMR vs Tikka T3 CTR

Chromebonez, I am in the same boat trying to decide between the Tikka T3X CTR and Bergara B14 HMR in 6.5 Creedmoor. As long as the Bergara shoots as good as reported , Im leaning in that direction as I like the stock as is, and would end up replacing the Tikka stock for one like the Bergara...

    Night Vision PVS-21 or PVS-15

Re: PVS-21 or PVS-15 IPSC guy, just came in after comparing 21's and a 14, this is totally subjective, but the image quality is about the same. The variable gain on the 14s lets you adjust and discern a little more if there is a light in your field of view, but the 21s don't really glare out.

    Night Vision PVS-21 or PVS-15

Re: PVS-21 or PVS-15 I have used the 21s a good bit since 02. Some things I like: There are good for driving, if you come into a lit area, or oncoming traffic the non amplified or true image takes over in the beam combiner, same thing when moving from a dark hall way to a lit room...

Night Vision NV monocular with eotechs

Re: NV monocular with eotechs I have found that with 21s , Eotech and a little practice you can be as fast as naked eye day time. As long as you can see your target. You need to adjust your eotech so it does not obscure your target, but still be able to see the reticule. I have not used...

Re: DPMS LR308 failure to extract I had the same problems with my DPMS 16" 308 AP4, tried all the fixes: polish chamber, adj gas block, heavy buffer, AR carbine buffer tube and spring, moved gas port to mid length, and various combinations. Had some improvement but still had issues. I built...
