Total gun porn, bro. Still tossing around the stock upgrade idea around. I'm sure I will eventually go that route. Sadly, no cans allowed here in Hawaii. How's she shoot?
Sorry to dredge up this nearly 1yr old thread but I just ordered my 700 Gen2 in 6.5CM as well as a Leupold Mark 5 5-25x56, Leupold base and rings. I'm really looking forward to shooting this gun and will post updates along the way. I was hoping by hitting this old thread again some others who've...
Sorry this happened to you but glad I saw this thread. I am about to drop the plastic on a CA Mesa 6.5CM. I'm new to long range or precision shooting but I've been watching a lot of YouTube and reading the occasional review and this is the first negative report I've seen about CA. I am currently...
Re: Question about CZ 452/453 rails I recently installed a Picatinny Rail from D.I Productions Inc.. My CZ 453 American came with the 3/8" dovetail. The rail I received fit like a glove. In fact I had to tap it into place with a little hammer and then secure it with the set screws. Works...
Re: CZ 453 Trigger Adjustment Got back from the range in time to catch the kick off. Much better feel of the trigger. Everything functioned flawlessly. What's more is that my zero didn't change at all! I'm very happy with the outcome.
DISCLAIMER: <--- IS NOT A GUNSMITH (and I don't even play one on the internet). Just wanted to drop a note telling how easy it is to adjust the trigger on your CZ453. The factory adjustment of my CZ453 trigger was a little heavy for my taste even when using the set trigger. I personally don't...
Re: CZ 453 1st Range Visit Has anyone with the set trigger tried adjusting it? I haven't taken mine out of the stock yet but would like to fiddle with it before the next range visit. My issues with the trigger with factory adjustment are creep and heavy pull weight. Overtravel seems to be...
Re: .22LR on a full size receiver Somewhere on this forum is a thread regarding the project underway by Underground Skunkworks. They're putting together a couple of rimfire bolt guns. One is suppose to be able to drop into any R700 stock. I'm pretty sure they're promising sub MOA performance...
Re: SEPTEMBER 2010 SH SHORT RANGE RIMFIRE COMPETITIONS Hmmm... Looks like I'll have to re-shoot on a new target. Is the only difference the increased spaces between numbers in S-2?

Re: 22wmr pics Nice! Love the stock. Is it me or is the scope mounted 90* counter-clockwise? Is the scope resting on the barrel? I don't see any clearance in the pics.

Re: Remington 700 XCR Tactical vs. Cooper The Phoenix Doesn't the XCR have that "V" shaped barrel? I was looking at the XCR Tactical LR online and saw that V barrel. For me... I just don't like the look of it. Other than that... I love the gun and wouldn't mind getting one.
