Getting the .308 also. Cabelas also has the Leupold 3x9 40mm VX-1 long range duplex with a couple of mil dots for $180. Should be a nice compact light combo for about $400. I wouldn't use H S Precision. They hired Lon Horiuchi as a spokesman. He is the guy that murdered Vicky Weaver while she was holding her newborn baby at Ruby Ridge. They are no longer worth my consideration. Dave- HemiDave

Berdan to Boxer conversion.
Good info! Thanks for posting with pics! My only concern would be the consistency compared to the boxer primed brass. Give us a range report when you can, please. With brass availability so low right now, we might all have to consider this conversion! Dave- HemiDave

I just have the one upper and really don't plan on getting another so I'd rather find someone local and get it done for $40 or so.....but if I can't...- HemiDave

Who can ream a 300 Whisper chamber to 300 AAC?
It shouldn't be too tough to do but I need my 300 Whisper upper reamed to 300 AAC Blackout so I can use the cheaper ammo, especially it's high pressure versions. Thanks!! Dave- HemiDave
