Bjay, it sounds like the flat block is not adjusted properly. Out of the thousands of .223 cases I did on my SS600, I don't ever remember damaging a case due to the primer pocket not being correctly aligned.- Henny

Have any of you guys tried the spring / rubberband / string gizmos? I never had much lock with them as they take a lot of fiddling around and frequent adjustment to work. that's why I started using the above method.- Henny

Swaging is the way to go. You're not removing material and the process of reaming is hard on the hands. For you guys that think the SS600 is too slow I found this is a pretty efficient way to use them. Mount it in a vice like this so you can let gravity work for you: Then put the cases...- Henny

223 small base sizing die???
I'm another believer in using a case gauge. One thing to make sure is that you may have your sizing die adjusted correctly, but your expander button is pulling your shoulder up. This can happen due to a lack of lube on the case mouth. Size some without the expander, check them in the...- Henny

OCW SMK 77 and CFE 223
I've noted when testing loads with a suppressor attached I'd get ejector marks sooner. This could possibly be from the over gas situation the suppressor causes. Without the suppressor, the ejector marks do not exist. With my suppressor, (Surefire 556212) there has been minimal (.5 moa)...- Henny

When is it safe to use my suppressor?
When I'm testing loads I have my suppressor on. I find it cuts down on off the wall readings and no start / stop error messages. With the suppressor (Surefire 556-212) the velocity is usually in the area of 50 fps faster than no suppressor attached.- Henny
