Definitely agree with what he said. Consistant eye relief, head position etc will move tight groups around. Try shooting 6 or more groups of 5 shots or more, then compare.
Eley actually published the difference between 10x, match, and team. They used rsd radial standard deviation. Its in their latest catalog. https://www.eleyammunition.com/brochure/
When you're a hammer every problem looks like a nail. Doctors are more inclined to prescribe a pill instead of diet and exercise. You dont see dietitians stopping by hospitals and clinics with free lunch, drug samples, and convincing "research". Good pharmaceutical sales reps make 6 figures for...
Eley states what RSD in millimeters separates tenex from match and so on. How about Lapua? Cant find any literature that explains EXACTLY what separates X act from Midas and Center X. Anyone know?
Tried it again yesterday. Prone, rear sock, bipod, 39 degrees. No wind flags yet but unlike the 1st time I waited if the wind picked up (pretty calm day).
Center X was the best I had. Have any of you seen the # thresholds for lapua like eley does with RSD? 1mm off from tenex to match and so on... Havent lot tested Eley or Lapua @ their respective facilities. I agree with Tim about the wind. Especially with rimfire and certainly at longer distances.
