    Cleaning Carbon ring / barrel with Thorolean - Some Questions

    This is a tool I made that works well. Cut off a fired unsized neck from your brass. Solder a length of welding rod in the center. A diamond file to the end to create some small burrs. A dab of JB and spin it. It stops at the chamber, so no harm to the throat of rifling.

    I've made the transition to all Kelbly's. Are they the best? Maybe, maybe not. But, customer service from Jim, Ian, and the rest is without question the best. I'm confident they will be around long after I'm gone. Look at Surgeon, Defiance, to a small degree Big Horn, and now Vudoo.

    Mile high supports matches, they are a top notch operation. Randy is a no bullshit, calls it how he sees it, good human being. I'm local, and have been a customer for 16 years. Are they the least expensive?, probably not. They've always treated me right.

    I believe I was the 1st one to get this done. 1st issue for me was the witness mark on the Elevation. 2nd was a bit of wobble while unlocked. Solved both of those issues. Mine (3 of them) work in both positions. I've heard they will do a mod where you can't pull it up. Never was an issue for me...
