    16" rifle length gas 308 reliability?

    An adjustable gas block (over bored) may fix problems, if any are encountered. I have a 16" dpms and have not had any problems. However, it's only been shot in warm weather.

    I picked up a sweet shooting Anschutz this past summer for my wife. 1416 is the model number, I think. Cost was a little north of a thousand, maybe 1300. Very accurate and she says it's pretty. I put a Zeiss on it, only to find out she doesn't have a clue how to look through it.

    It really depends on the company, some have the product in full production with inventory ready. Some products never make it to market or shouldn't (kimber solo). My experience overall is 6 to 10 months for new products arriving at the LGS.
