Re: HOW MANY INCH LBS? These guys are right, the Hogue stock is not all that great. However, go shoot shoot with it. I kept the factory stock on for awhile and it still shot fairly well. And when you get the point where you have decent groups and when funds are available, upgrade to a...
Re: Glock aftermarket Trigger question... The Fulcrum kit is really nice and breaks at 3 pounds consistently. Sorry for the crap ass picture but here it is.

Re: $400 red dot choice? I have an Eotech 512 and a Sparc. I actually have been favoring the dot on the Sparc more as of late. Battery life would be a problem if you were down range, but if it is for shooting at targets, the Sparc is just fine IMHO. I have beaten up both my red dots and the...
Re: Replacement stock for SPS Tactical +1 on B&C. Check out Stockystocks.com. Bedded it and it made a huge difference. I guess it all depends and what kind of shooting you are going to be doing. Here's what my SPS tac turned out to be.
Re: The BUDGET RIFLE picture thread! Here is my budget rifle. I put this thing together based off of research and feedback from a lot of people here on Snipershide. R700 SWFA 10x Harris swivel Blackhawk pack B&C A2 stock (bedded thanks to wnroscoe's thread)

Re: 168,175gr FGMM for 20 dollars a box I just ordered 5 boxes of FGMM 168 from Palmetto today. Not a bad deal for under $100 with shipping included. That beats all my local shops by $7.
Re: Aluminum bedded block question I had a similar issue when I received my B&C a few weeks ago. Prior to bedding it, it was off to the right. The barrel was still floating but it was a bit annoying. After bedding it, the problem was corrected. I am happy with it's performance so far.
Re: Should I bed my rifle?? I agree it won't hurt. I was just in that predicament a couple of weeks ago. Just got a B&C stock for my 700 and when I mounted it, the barrel was floating. It shot great too, but I kept thinking about bedding it and after reading wnroscoe's thread, I said fu@k...
Re: GAP / new owner Eehhhh...if you ever want to real rifle, I got a wicked bone stock Marlin 795 I'd trade with you. I would even throw in the $25 rebate I got with it as an added incentive. Just kidding, that is a nice rifle...I'm jealous my friends suck!
I have noticed while researching on how to bed a stock that some of you experienced a smoother action afterwards. I am too experiencing this (which is frickin awesome). My 700 is a hell of a lot smoother now. What causes this to happen? Less stress in places maybe? Any input will be greatly...
