    For $200 or less, can I get a nice ambidextrous pistol grip stock for the 700? I just put a Boyds Evolution on my 10/22 for $100, I like it a lot - but apparently they don't offer it for the 700. I prefer plastic, but wood is acceptable. Thanks!

    Does the upper and lower matter? I saw that someone with a MATEN(?) that had the same issue as other's DPMS. Thanks for the JP suggestion ;)

    If by that you mean, take various parts and combine them (trigger group, handguard, butt stock, barrel, etc.) - that's what I was going to do. But I was going to use LR-308 platform. How do I avoid the reliability issue?
