    Hi y'all My brother found a matching pair of the above rifles from a friend who inherited them. My brother inspected them, they are pristine look never fired the stock is the "old traditional style montecarlo thumb hole" I dont have a s/n yet tried to find this model in the used gun values...

    Most likely the bolt release is dragging in the groove it rides in it acts as a bolt guide chech it for burred edges and/or rough machine marks deburr and Smooth the bolt release groove and check the bolt release that protrudes into that groove Then put Fitz or automotive valve grinding...

    Wow! Hard to believe that Bergara is making such a poor quality rifle I have. B14r and a friend has there semi auto and both are top notch!! B14 is the best “ off the shelf” rifle that I have ever purchased!
