All three of these are likely related to the issues I posted above. I definitely had some lube related issues the first time I took my GAP-10 out. I solved most of them by the second time I took it out but I was still having some FTF and occasional jam. I'll give it a little more time to break...
I've also been having FTF issues with mine running the Copper Creek 175gr thats recommended by GAP. I'm guessing I had around 10 in ~150 rounds. I was hoping to try some different ammo to see if it the ammo or the rifle but haven't had a chance yet.
Thanks everyone for the great advice. Sadly I didn't even think of worn gears from heavy use. The warranty info was also a big help because S&B, which is what I was looking at, seems to have a fairly short 2 year warranty. Again, thanks for all the good info.
I'm starting to research and look into buying my first high end optic. I'm seeing a lot of nice scopes used in the forums here. What concerns should I have about buying used? Are there specific things I should be looking for? I'm thinking there may be potential warranty issues or hard to detect...
