I agree, first Gen SRS. I wouldn't think this would be too bad of a price with both conversions and a hard case.

    Tikka T3 Thread

Ok I'm a little behind on Tikka values and I'm looking for some information. I sold my Tikka T3 Varmint in .308 a few years back but now have the chance to buy it back. The barrel and action had been Cerakoted and the rifle wears a Vortex Vipers PST 4-16x50 in Leupold STD mounts on a EGW HD...

Trimming/deburring/chamfering before or after neck resizing?

The information I gave was specifically for the Lee Collet die. Sorry for the confusion if this isn't the proper procedure for other dies. Here is a cut/paste from the Lee instructions: Clean cases are easier to inspect. Cases can be decapped, cleaned, trimmed, chamferred, neck reamed...

Rifle Scopes 'Hide Optics Dealers that take trade in Scopes?

Very true, they offered me $450 for a scope I had but I ended up selling it for $650 straight out.

    .243 barrel option?

I'm planning on doing nearly an identical barrel setup at the first of the year for my DTA. I'm most likely going to run a straight barrel. My reasoning is it will be relatively easy to send in to be set back and chambered once the throat goes away. I'll also be taking advantage of the short...

This question is more toward the DTA crew but anyone can give their thoughts. Are there any plans to ever stop production of Gen. 1 barrel adaptors? Edit: I know you can run a Gen. 2 barrel adaptor on a Gen. 1 chassis but I'd rather have what was actually designed for my rifle.

    Berger's VLD load testing

Sounds like the barrel/bullet/powder combination you have just works, and that's a good thing! Another way you could run the test is to extend your range if you can. Longer ranges would allow the bullet impacts to open up a bit and maybe make it a little easier to spot changes in POI. The...

    Rifle Scopes quality hunting scope

I used to run a Swarovski with their Ballistic Turret and to be honest I haven't had a scope since that could match it in low light. The glass was great and the color/contrast was excellent. Take a look at their Z6 line but I do recommend the Ballistic Turret option if you're planning on...
