    I would think hunting with the 5.56 he would mean whitetail and predators. Lots of people shoot groundhogs and such but you don't really hunt them. I use the same 77 gr bullet for both predators and whitetail with great success so far.

    I am also shooting 77 gr Nosler CC with Varget. I chose Nosler over Sierra's 77 gr because I hunt with them and they are supposed to expand a little better due to the different thickness of the copper jacket. From my 1/8 twist they are super accurate and consistent.
