    Yesterday at 8:36 AM #6 When you run 20 rounds across an optical Chrono it's tough to decide if a high or low reading was the Chrono or the load. The ES and SD calculation is blind. Care to elaborate? Is it an inherent flaw in the technology or perhaps a resolution issue with a given device?

    I will say The 100 yd groups were all sub MOA. They weren’t “great” but I was shooting off a tripod for the first time so I wasn’t expecting great groups. I moved out to 575yds and got 1 hit out of 5 on a 12”x12” target. Again, off the tripod so can’t fault the ammo.

    Finally chrono’d some Hornady 6.5C 140 ELD Match today. 20rds over my ProChrono digital. I’m not too impressed with the results. AVG 2710 ES 61 STDev 19 Is this what I should expect from factory match ammunition? I expected better. What are your experiences?

    Anyone used/using a RRS KRG Chassis Plate on the X-Ray chassis?

    Got the tripod, leveling head, and rrs arca plate. Seems rock solid in the living room. No flex in the X-ray chassis that I can tell. Heading to the range tomorrow. Super happy with the setup so far.

    I've narrowed down my tripod research/selection to a Leofoto ln-364c with the RRS TA-3 leveling head. I also see RRS makes a chassis plate that connects directly to the X-ray forend. Has anyone used this set up before? I'm mostly curious about whether or not the plastic on the x-ray forend...
