Hairball: I am not gonna use it as a hunting rifle but if a hog is in my fields or a yote trots out I wouldn't hesitate. As for the hearing... Is it possible to use the action for a 7 rem mag build. That's what I would rather have but the 300 was just tossed in my lap so I couldn't pass on it. I would have to spend money on a muzzle break so if the action is useable and all I needed to do is re barrel I'd rather put that money to that...- jdjtexas
