Hunting & Fishing Tikka T3 Lite 300 Win Mag

Re: Tikka T3 Lite 300 Win Mag I just got a 7mm rem mag t3. While the recoil is stiff it's not that bad. I just swapped the factory rock of a pad with a limbsaver and think it will really tame it.

    Gunsmithing 1/2-28 threads 7rm

I have gotten a tikka lite in 7mm Remington magnum. I want to thread it for my 30 cal suppresor but the barrel diamiter is too small for 5/8-24. The muzzle is .604 at the end. I would rather not have to thread it 9/16 and adapt to 5/8 as its not what is more common. Would 1/2-28 adapted to...

    Suppressors 22 Suppressor suggestions

Re: 22 Suppressor suggestions Every time I use my Scilercerco sparrow I smile like a fool. My only complaint is that the finish on the tube appears to be showing some wear, I know at some point Scilencerco had an issue with their finisher. At some point I might send it in for a re coat, but...

Southwest Ammo - scarred cases with dings/scuff

Re: Southwest Ammo - scarred cases with dings/scuff looks like their sizing die had some buildup of brass on it or not enough lube. Call them or wait for them to contact you here. They will see it. I had an issue with a round from them once. They 100% took care of me above and beyond.

Suppressors one last question on hearing safe

Re: one last question on hearing safe After firing my sparrow off a semi enclosed balcony I now call utter bull on anyone who claims that any can can be hearing safe. In an open area it's another matter. Indoors you need all the hearing pro up can get.

Compressed Loads and Redding Competition Seater

Re: Compressed Loads and Redding Competition Seater I have been loading my 308 with 49 and some odd grains of varget under a 150 nosler acubond. The load came from noslers data. It is a compressed load and I use a redding match die. With 200 rounds loaded so far, my die is good. I go slow and...

Trying to decide on a factory action

Re: Trying to decide on a factory action An I could be wrong but the tikka mags are all the same length just with a molded in filler for length. So you probably could mod the mags. CDI also makes a DBM for the tikka rifles to run AI mags.

Trying to decide on a factory action

Re: Trying to decide on a factory action If your building off it the t3 has more support. In my opinion the a7 has very little advantage to the t3 for 2x the cost. If you want a sako get a 85.

    Thoughts on the H&K UMP

Re: Thoughts on the H&K UMP I find the grip to be horrible feeling. If there was an easy/cheap way to get a different grip on it I would love it. It is far to square and not contoured well.

Rifle Scopes Best scope for under $1500 50mm or less

Re: Best scope for under $1500 50mm or less I like my Nightforce NSX, but I love my bushnell hdmr. FFP and the gap reticle is perfect. Add in the locking turrets and it's the best value in scopes.
