    Suppressors Re-threading a QD brake from 1/2x28 to M14x1RH

1/2X28 threads usually require a 29/64 or a 15/32 size pilot hole. To make a 14 mm threaded brake, a 1/2" hole is needed. to bore out the brake, there should be enough material to re-thread your brake.

    Deciding which 17 HMR rifle

I'm looking to buy a new rifle in 17 HMR. I'm looking at the Tikka T1X and the CZ 457 (Varmint Pro Boyds stock,) or 457 synthetic suppressor ready. Boyds being about $50, I plan to on a rail and scope (4-16) most likely for paper and occasional squirrel/rabbit. If you own either or both, I'd...

Manners Composite Stocks Estimated Lead Times

I ordered a stock last October and it arrived this week. The stock looks great and it came with Manners catalog and a sticker. I cannot wait to pillar bed the stock and get it to the range.

Manners Composite Stocks Estimated Lead Times

I had to re-order my stock because the first one was sold to another customer. My action took almost 9 months from the time I ordered until it was ready from DLC and my butt dragged getting the barrel blank completed. The upside was I had the opportunity to talk to Floyd from Manners. He was...

Gunsmithing Looking for measurements for 338 Lapua barrel for Defiance action

I spoke to Norm the next morning. He pulled up my info and looked over the specs on my receiver and gave me a rough estimate of what I'd need. I totally forgot that my bolt was flat and did not require counterbore cutting of the chamber after I already ordered one from PTG. I did n't bother to...

Gunsmithing Looking for measurements for 338 Lapua barrel for Defiance action

I'm not sure if this is a weird question but I'm trying to find information to do make a barrel fit into a Defiance Deviant action. Any information is appreciated.

Rifle Scopes Looking at a scope for my Ruger 10/22, Bushnell RimFire, Athlon Neos, or Hawke

I'm looking for a scope for my 10/22 and narrowed my choices down to three (Bushnell RimFire, Athlon Neos, and Hawke Vantage). I plan to shoot paper, metal plates, and harass a few squirrels and rabbits. As with most Hide answers, buy all three, test them, and sell off the two I least like...

    .338 Lapua Muzzle Brake

I'm also in the process of building a 338 LM. I went with an Area419 Sidewinder brake. The machining, fit, and finish are top notch.

Rifle Scopes Who has the best price on Nightforce?

I'm 30 minutes away from CS Tactical. That's a good thing because if they were any closer I'd be there all the time and be more broke than I am now.

Anyone on a Keto diet? I'll probably die, but oh well.

I changed my eating habits for 10 weeks now. I work graveyard hours so eating can be a challenge. I went from 3 meals a day with plenty of rice, breads, and pastas to eating twice a day. I still have my coffee with creamer and sucralose sweetener (gotta have my sweetener). Since I get up at...
