You'll have to excuse me if I sound ignorant, but what about a scope that has a mil dot reticle but uses minutes as it's turret measurements. This is a bad thing? I understand the mil dot formula on range estimation, but other than doing the math, what other benefits would there be?

I think I read in another thread that PTG is in the process of testing an 8 round mag for use with this. Anyone know if that's true or not?

I'm probably going to go with a Manners or B&C, but my problems were trying to find a DBM. I looked at PTG and it seems like a great product and price, I just don't know if the receiver will have to be modified or not.

I've got a little project going currently with a new LA model 70. The receiver is rock solid, it's just impossible trying to find aftermarket options for a M70, and especially answers on what will work and what will not.
