My 143 ELD-X load with RL26 makes 2650 with the 18" Cross and a YHM R2 can. It went 2750 in another rifle with a 21" barrel, so the velocity makes sense. I worked off the Speer 140gr load data with RL26.

I found mine to be easier to shoot once I added some M-lok rail panels to yield a meatier forend feel. Shoots better from the bags and is easier to grip.

We hung up a new 400yds gong a few weeks back and I told Dad to break it in right. His cold bore shot was right on the money. It's an easy rifle to work with, especially for a hunting rig that you can have some fun with also.

Getting more enjoyment from my 6.5CM since adding a Resonator 2. No load development done. Just went with my existing load that I was shooting in a Bergara HMR, being the 143 ELD-X over RL26. Should be right around 2,650FPS in the 18" Cross. Shot it some at 300yds this weekend.

About 2:20 mark in the video, he mentions a 0.404 interior bore.

Seems like I recall a youtube video where the bore of the R9 was shown to be just over 0.400". Maybe somebody will measure one. If it is advertised to run a .350 Legend safely and is rated for 308Win case capacity and pressures, I'd think a .358win should be a perfect fit.

It doesn't add much weight to go with some M-Lok rail panels from Centurion Arms. They're slim and grippy, plus not so cold in the winter.

I put a few in the hopper in August of 2021. Hoping to have some in hand by hunting season this fall, maybe...... Typical big Gov bullshit.

I hope somebody comes up with a steel bag-rider that fits the factory stock. Some of these guns could use a little rear ballast when a can is out front.
