Joden,
I see your running 105.5 grains of rl33 with the 300 grain burgers, did you find anything that was causing pressure signs before around 102 grains?
Thanks,
Jon
We just used the 215 on a big muley buck at 960 yards. I made a bad wind call and the shot was back of the diaphram the bullet saved us and the buck expired quickly due to the fragmenting characteristics of the bullet. Great bullet for long range.
I'm only seeing .002" difference between a loaded neck diameter and a fired neck diameter, so should I be turning the necks for more clearance? I'm also seeing pressure at a low powder charge for the cartridge.
Has anyone loaded the 225 eld-m in their 300 win mag? If so what is your load, including seating depth, powder and charge, primer, brass, coal, accuracy, and velocity. Just wanting to see if there is an advantage other than cost to the 215 berger...
What height of rings are you using on your defiance deviant action with 20 moa integral rail and 50mm scope objective? I don't have the rifle together yet because I'm still waiting on parts so it's hard to measure. Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
Jon

How far off of the lands did you end up with the 225 eld-m. I have a 10 twist benchmark barrel and I can't seem to find a good load with the 225. The 215 and 230 hybrids shoot great out of this barrel.
Thanks
I have been working up a load and have settled on one with retumbo that is getting me in the .3's and 2900 fps with my 300 win mag and a 28" barrel. I have shoot this out to 1594 yards with the g7 bc of .372 with good success. Maybe I will try .363 and see if my impacts change much.
