    Re: Does the zero change alot with a 22lr?? Yep go with a one piece rail and bed it if need be. I would also lightly lap cheap rings but only after the rail has been bedded or confirmed true. Don't over torque anything and you should be GTG.

    Re: Leica 1600 I can reliably depend on mine to about 800 yards under hunting conditions (only cond. I've tried) I've tried houses also but not too much luck there. I did hit a boathouse at 1400ish with 1 of nearly 15 tries! So far I would definitely not recommend the 1600CRF for anything but...

    Re: Leica 1600 Rangefinder Review Mine has only been good for 1100 yards max in perfect conditions on houses, hillsides and the like! 800 seems to be about max for a consistent reading...very good glass but all-in-all it is disappointing past 8/900! Will be getting a vectronix soon I hope!

    I'm curious how tight the mounts tolerances are. Are they machined to a certain (+ or -) standard? If so...how do they compare to other top mounting systems?
