SOLD R700 SPS 300blk 16" or .223 Action to Build

Any interest in an accurized stainless Model 7 action with 223 bolt face? Purchased as a virgin action from LRI, never assembled with barrel or stock. Had their full accurizing package done to the action and bolt, GreTan lightweight firing pin included. PM if so

    New lightweight hunter project started

I'll be following along as well, you will have a great rifle soon I have a lightweight (5.9, wanted to be closet to 5...) 22" 7-08AI on a Model 7, trued and barreled by LRI. Have not shot it yet :/ My reasoning for the 7-08AI was that to my eye, it would provide the highest performance in a...

    Lightweight mountain rifle

Every ounce below 6lbs gets progressively more expensive, and/or comes with trade-offs. Here is a detail of my last build, which I imagined to be my ideal rifle (mountain too) without any departures from ballistic capability or durability: Bbl: K&P 7-08AI, #1 profile at 22" Action: Model 7...

    300 blackout bolt gun

350 Legend might do everything the 300blk does more better, in a short bolt gun with 556 bolt face. The guys saying an inexpensive Ruger makes more sense than building off of a bare action, have the right idea. Unless you are going for a pistol build. Ruger ought to sell bare actions or...

    Iron Sighted Truck Rifle?

Lever guns are a lot of fun to shoot, and the box mag models are accurate enough and available in powerful enough, high BC cartridges to cover any necessary 'truck gun' range IMO, especially if iron sights are the preference. No experience with the Henry Long Ranger. I understand it is...

    Iron Sighted Truck Rifle?

Savage 99 can be found in 308, though not a full stock. I have one in .300 Savage, very handy rifle. Lever action with internal magazine instead of tube feed, allowing spire point bullets. For something more modern, a BLR fits the bill. Lever action with a drop box magazine.

Group Buys "Soft Opening": LRI's Remington Model 7 and Nesika GB

Hello, 1. Are these Tier 1 packages available to customer supplied rifles? 2. Will the re-cut receiver threads and LRI lug allow use of prefits? And I'll 2nd the inquiry about a Model 7 DBM! Thank you!

Ammo WTB: 130 Grain 270 WSM ammo

I know of a gun shop in Granbury, Texas that has many boxes- however, he makes up prices on the spot and is a dishonest asshole. If you can't find any, I can stop by and see what I can do. (I stopped by yesterday. Pistol powder was $69.95 a pound, 'going up to $79.95 next month, IF you can even...

Re: Camouflage - - - Why?!?!?! I painted my AR because in West Texas, it doesn't get near as hot in the sun as standard black. And it looks neat-o.

New unprimed 7mm WSM brass: Badly deformed necks

Re: New unprimed 7mm WSM brass: Badly deformed necks OK, so the consensus is that I'll be OK shooting it, but I might ought to consider additional case prep using an expander die. Thanks for the input everybody. Looks like i've got an excuse to send Sinclair some more money!
