    Problem with cast bullets in 308.

    Re: Problem with cast bullets in 308. I have some 8208, trouble is I's difficult to get hard alloy. I may have to go to it. I then can crank up the powder. Unless it is wet you can always tell where that 220 bullet hits, on our range.

    The problem is not that they don't shoot well, it is that their trajectory is ..lets say less than flat out to 600. I ran out of elevation on my Leupold 4x12, so I shimmed the rear Leupold base with .021. Can I shim the base more? Impact is still 5 prairie dogs (steel ones) at the bottom of...

    Russian target rifle questions

    I just acquired a Russian 22 LR target rifle. It is simular to the Finnish Lion. The markings are MT12 and made in Russian It is in 95%+ shape and complete with sights. Anyone have a link about them, and how much it is worth?? Right now I'm in a Quality Inn and most of my weapons sites...

    At a recent fun show one dealer said he had heard the army was putting up acogs that had the scripture verses ground off for sale. Any body heard anything on this???

    Gunsmithing 700 BDL Problem

    Re: 700 BDL Problem Have you cleaned the bolt locking lugs in the receiver??? I stick my little finger in there to feel for grit, grime. I have been known to shoot the locking lugs with a spray cleaner and use an air hose to blow out the grit.
