I did locate the mount, its not plain like the one pictured but has 2888-89059 plus Hebrew letters, running vertically perhaps a rifle serial number 415515, still looking for the new mount lever/screw, I have the stripped one.

I have one with stripped threads, got a new old stock part to replace it , I tucked them away and ended up using a Bassett, if I can find it and replace the worn part I'll let it go cheap.

I have a Black Ops with a 1:8 Brux barrel, shooting both FGMM 69 & 77gr, I get a little better results with the 77gr, I tried Hornady Match 75gr with good results too.

A set of jewelers files could correct that, but I'd be a bit salty about who shipped it out without some kind of thread protection. Each end of the barrel should have had some kind of plastic cover. Hell ....$5 dollar pipe fittings comes with a plastic cover, why not a $200-300 barrel?

Don't give up on the scotch.....there are some very nice single malts available in the $35 to $45 range, one "vatted" scotch I like is Monkey Shoulder. Its bottled by Balvenie a blend of three single malts, no grain., $34. Glengoyne 10y a sherry finish $39. Tomatin is a sherry finish...

The Manners T5 stock is one of the best I've tried so far, by far the most comfortable for me. I own both McM & Manners both are great choices. If you can try prior to purchasing that is the best route.
