    Barrett M107A1 question on price for this rifle

    The ones on sale for 9999 at Europtic have a steel upper and are 1 pound heavier. Also Palmeto is coming out with a semi 50 bmg that will probably cost half as much and will use the m82 mags. Probably will compete for accuracy with the Barrett.

    7 saum if you’re stuck on 7mm. Magazine’s are the only drawback to going saum. You can put 4 saum rounds in a 10 round pmag and it will feed perfectly. Larger magazines will bulge and not feed well.

    Unlike Serbu, that tube gun has a solid scope rail base mount. The Serbu scope rail has oversized holes that can allow the scope to move all over from 50 bmg recoil.

    the vepr 54r would be a good shooting option for a lot less money. The problem with the vepr is a narrow receiver that only allows single stack magazines. This Insight armory svd would be fun to shoot. Lapua brass handloads...pull down russian steel case and load with better powder/bullets?

    The difference is 1 pound and 3,000$ I think it is a steel receiver instead of an aluminum receiver. The steel receiver part number has -S at the end. All the rest of the m107 parts are the same I believe.

    I picked up the harbor freight titanium 225 to weld up a MOVE heavy bumper kit for the 1 inch thick material(tow lugs and frame mounting brackets). I used 220vac. It worked awesome. Lots of good reviews on YouTube. I used wire feed on the thin material.
