I was wondering about that one. Having had shot a 12" thick pine tree, and finding the slug 30 yards behind it buried in another tree, I would have my doubts of using a slug in a house.
We have cheap Henkel paring knives in our bags. Use Havalon knives typically though. My nephews outdoor research knife was really nice to use though, and I have one on the Christmas wish list.
I shoot 140gr TTSX out of my 7RM for this reason. Small exit wounds, but they do plenty of damage internally. Friend of mine shoots the typical 150gr expanding type, can’t remember the exact bullet, out of his 7wsm. The amount of exit damage was pretty extensive, and ruins a fair bit of meat...
I can vouch for the CS being good. Had a throw lever break, not sure how or what happened(likely the extreme cold, and being tossed in the truck). Shot off a quick email, with pictures of the pieces, the came back looking for a mailing address. Not long after I had a new one. So I was impressed.
