    Best flow through suppressor

It's a new company, with no track record, and they are partnered up with a company (CGS does their warranty work) that has recently had their own set of QA/QC issues (see numerous threads on ti powder and CGS suppressors). All we really have to judge them on so far is their gimmicky...

    New Kahles K328i

The AMR isn't that busy in reality (at least to my eyes), but it sure looks busy on paper. My .300NM has a K624i with an AMR reticle. It's a great reticle (for ELR, IMO), but the center part of the reticle would be much better served with a fine dot.

    Recoil issue from bench

Yeah, I do all of my pistol/carbine shooting at a private range where I can get a private bay. Short barrels and bad safety etiquette is a dangerous combo, which is all to frequent at public ranges.

That stuff is a great reminder for why I don't go to public pistol ranges...

The war in Ukraine and Donbas

I see what you're saying, but I personally have a hard time believing this is what they are doing given historical context and lack of precedent. Personally I'm not sure what to believe about this event, and I'll remain open minded, along with being incredibly skeptical of any narrative, until...

    lets see your foundation stock

I agree. This is my hot take as someone with engineering and design backgrounds. It's not aesthetically cohesive. All the new features look like an after thought, as if they want to make stocks but to appease the market they needed to make them modular like a chassis. Rather then designing a...

The war in Ukraine and Donbas

Have ISIS fighters done this in the past? Act as paid mercenaries for terrorist attacks?

The war in Ukraine and Donbas

Has Russia actually released any information that shows a link between these terrorists and Ukraine, or are we just supposed to take their word for it? These days its so hard to tell what's actually real. The US and Ukraine have incentives to lie about this, so does Russia. The ISIS link...

    Recoil issue from bench

Indoor ranges are nuts. I don't really go to them anymore, but whenever I did, I would always point out to whomever I'm shooting with the holes that were immediately above in the ceiling, below on the ground, and to either side on the walls. Doesn't matter which indoor shooting range you go to...

    Recoil issue from bench

What kind of fudds are running this place? I've been a member of 5+ different shooting ranges, across 3 different states. I've never encountered an issue with shooting prone between the benches.

The MIC (medical) must be down on numbers

It's all about profit. The industry isn't about patient care anymore. My wife works in pathology, and I constantly hear horror stories about the system.

The MIC (medical) must be down on numbers

The healthcare industry's MO is to create a patient/"customer" for life rather then actually fixing people. They make a lot more money that way.

Why use a chronograph if I’m going to true anyway?

The issue with using BC is that its one measurement taken at a static point in time. BC's of projectiles will change as velocity changes throughout the flight of that projectile. Short distances this isn't an issue, but longer distances this reality comes into play. If you use applied...
