I don't anticipate ever competing. I just want to have some fun challenging myself with a good quality rifle. I've looked at Anschutz off and on for many many years. They are truly excellent and I wouldn't turn one down but they are definitely more gun and more expensive than my shooting skills...

Yes, if you click the link it shows the free BCG, then an option to buy one of their Gunfighter charging handles for $40 and then the free BCM Mod 0 compensator. I bought the medium charging handle with it. I believe with the BCG and compensator that's everything for the upper except iron sights...

The free BCG and compensator were too good to pass up. I ordered this one. I'm going to order a BCM lower to go with it. I'm still debating between the stock trigger and one of the Geissele options. I'm not sure I shoot at the level of a custom trigger so that money might be better spent on...

At this point I'm fairly set on either a DD rifle or a BCM upper with the freebies and a BCM lower. I'm going to purchase them a few days apart so I only get dinged the 11% on the lower if I go with BCM. If I go DD I'll go with my LGS.

I'd rather not have a short action gun and I think the Colt is a short action. I'm sure it's a good quality gun but just not the one for me.
