    Thanks. I need to work on that. Ive had consistency issues in the past that I suspect have to do with bad form. I need to build up the cheek rest and practice staying on the rifle for loading the next round. But the whole idea of being straight behind seems off. Ill have to practice.

    Seems I love heard here and there to keep you body square to the rifle so the stock is hitting your body square and not being pushed to one side. But in order to line your eye up in the scope I really dont see how this is possible. So what are they trying to convey? I see adjustable butt...

    Bullet Seating Depth ?

    My hornandy dies have always been very uniform. .001 difference at most. Check to see where your seating stem contacts the bullet. Otherwise it may be poor design.

    Gunsmithing 300wm or 300wsm

    SA vs LA. Is what it comes down to. A 175 lrx will handle elk easily. You dont need 200 gr bullets. Wsm seems to shoot 180 gr bullets best. Win mag stuff seems more plentiful to find but ballistic wise there's not enough to sweat it.

    That seems very slow. How how did you go before pressure signs? Most people are shooting 140's around 2800 with great results

    I think you got a weak batch of powder. Hornandy sometimes runs 43 gr in their load to keep up velocity. Now recent 140 a max loads have indeed been loaded with a different powder. Still waiting to hear back what they switched to. The new powder is black and has a hole in the center of it...
