Keep in mind a bedding job is needed for a McMillan to get the best performance whereas a Sage is bolt in and go. Not a slight against the McMillan, just a consideration.
I honestly never shot it with the Archangel stock mine came with, I immediately dropped it into the Sage as I had one laying around. I personally like the ergo’s of the Sage and found that I could dial in loads that were Sub MOA with them so I’ve never looked at anything else. The only downside...

MWS hands down. Go with a stainless barrel for ultimate accuracy, but it’s hands down a better system than the DD. If you want stupid accuracy get a custom barrel from Rivers Bend and you’ll be set.
With an 18” SS barrel on my MWS it’s a hammer out to 830, which is the farthest I’ve taken it. While printing small groups is fun, I have bolt rifles for that purpose. My rifle will shoot sub MOA to distance so long as the moron behind it does his job. The MWS is a battle rifle where a...
