Growing up on a small beef farm our neighbors German shepherd ended up with 3 legs from chasing our Hereford calves......pretty good shot with my open sighted 1895 Chilean Mauser in 7x57 at 150 yards.
I've shot a bunch of Aguila Colibri rounds out of my Marlin 880SQ. Accurate as hell at 10-15 yards and tip a squirrel backwards off the bird feeder. I've got an old Falcon Menace on it, scopes almost as big as the rifle. Lol. It's a lot quieter than my air rifle.
Company vehicle I see no problem with it. I'm a truck driver and all our trucks have trackers. The boss actually got a speeding warming removed from mine and the company CVSA because the tracker on my truck proved I wasn't speeding.
My weekend carry is 17+1 and 12 for backup. Work (truck driver) carry is 22+1 with 5 more 22 rounders in my basket-O-junk between the seats. I am lucky to have a boss that not only allows carry, but encouraged it. I do go into some not so nice areas of Detroit.
Opening morning of Michigan Rifle deer season (Nov 15, 23). 172g Speer Impact out of my Alpine Supreme Mauser 98 clone in 30-06, Nightforce SHV. Its a decent buck for my area of Central Michigan. I had preseason pics of better bucks, but I only have 80 acres, so I need to take what...
Once in high school chemistry class my lab partner and I mixed a bunch of left over chemicals. The teacher kind of freaked out over the purple Haze coming out of the beaker. Evacuated the lab and we got a bit of an ass chewing.
Yep, used to have to look out for the idiot four wheelers, now it's other truckers too. Especially running the weights we do in Michigan. I often have over 100,000 on the deck.
