    I have a remington 700 5r 24". 308. I have a vx3l with the 56mmdory objective lens. Ehat base and rings should i get? Money isnt really a factor.

    I personally dont like the ACOG myself, To pricey. I would rather get a 1x4, or hell myself I like the red dot. but maybe its just me. i traded my acog for red dot CCO when I was in the army. (and yes everyone thought i was crazy)

    Sidearms & Scatterguns M&P shield review coming from a glock guy.

    I like the XDs a little bit more than the M&P myself. but only was able to handle and shoot one clip out of the M&P I have put several more than that thru the XDs and love the way it shoots little recoil for such a small .45.

    Re: anyone have trouble with SST's me and my wife filled our 2 deer tags using 95 gr SST's and dropped the deer in their tracks, I too found some traces of fragments in mine when gutting, skinning and processing it. I hope that your lot of ammo is fine, maybe call hornaday and let them know...
