    Very simple to set the wind, I'd say just as easy as the impact 4000. One difference I've noticed though, the Impact 4000 remembers wind direction on the compass as the unit rotates. Doesn't seem like that's case for the Maztech so you'll have to remember to make adjustments as conditions...

    Here's a quick short I filmed yesterday showing ranging speed and distance capability (rocks) for the 15k lrf. Maztech also told me the X4 line would be available on the magpul site today.

    The best answer here would be for me to figure out how to get the speed of each on camera. The refresh rate on the screens messes with my iPhones though. My best guess would be say .5 seconds on the fire 4000 (it feels almost instant) for distances out to 1000 yds or so while the Maztech 2k...

    It's been several weeks now since I had the FCS out to the range but I don't recall noticing anything weird going on. Certainly nothing stuck out to me as out of the ordinary or sig gen 1 10k blue bad. I ran the FCS through full daylight, dusk and after dark with a clip on and had no issues.

    Putting the finishing touches on the full side by side (impact vs fire vs Maztech 2k) that I plan to launch tomorrow. Created a quick high level pro/ con reel around the 2k that I thought this crew might enjoy.

    You know I didn't think about this as a potential solution. The HUD is fairly customizable but I'm not sure if you can actually turn the aiming point off.... I'll have to give it a try. I know Maztech is looking at designing other aiming points so hopefully that's something that can be changed...
